Crypto Payments Overview
Beta's Crypto Payments product enables merchants and payment processors to collect payments in crypto and receive funds in fiat currencies.
General Overview

Some of the features of Beta's Crypto Payment Product include:
Sub-accounts: Create multiple sub-accounts to manage each user closely. This gives you greater control over your users and their activities, streamlining your operations and providing a more personalized experience for your users.
Automated Transaction Handling: Sometimes, users deposit incorrect amounts in fiat or crypto. When this occurs, we troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the user directly.
Enhanced Privacy: To protect the privacy of the merchants' transaction history, our platform creates new wallet addresses for each order created in our Crypto Payments product.
Embedded Compliance: Beta process AML checks automatically for every transaction to make sure funds are not coming from illegal sources.
Multiple Currencies and Assets Available: Our platform supports transactions in various crypto assets, networks, and fiat currencies, which can increase the revenue potential of your business.
Frictionless Experience: you can choose our white-label API to have full control over the payment process with your own branding and design, or you can opt for our hosted experience for hassle-free integration.
Generating Payment Links
If you intend to integrate with the APIs, you can skip this section and check the endpoints for requesting payments.
However, these instructions could be handy in case your team needs to generate any crypto payment link manually.
Here is the information needed to generate crypto payment requests:
Asset: Choose a fiat asset that you would like to use in this transaction. Usually, it is the same as the Settlement Asset you configured during the onboarding process.
Amount: Amount in the fiat asset you would like to request.
Your internal reference: It could be an order number or a plain text description.
Recipient's e-mail address: Your customer's e-mail for receiving the payment link
Link Expiration (Advanced Option): By default, payment links expire after 72 hours. However, you can choose other options If you want.
Language (Advanced Option): This is your customer's preferred language to receive communications, such as the payment link details and payment receipt.
Your Customer's Experience
Beta will send the payment link instructions to the e-mail address informed in the recipient's e-mail address
field.
Here are the steps for your customer to complete the payment:
1. Click on the payment link received by e-mail
2. Read payment link instructions
3. Choose a preferred crypto asset and generate a quote
4. Review the Quote to generate a crypto wallet
5. Proceed with the crypto deposit
Beta will hold the final quote for 20 minutes, and payers are expected to deposit before the countdown ends.
Managing Transactions
Merchants and payment processors can manage transaction details through the Dashboard or by making API calls to the GET Order
and Get Order Detail
endpoints.
Request Settlements
Settlements can only be requested via Dashboard. It is usually generated automatically according to the frequency you set up on the Settings menu, or it could be generated manually through the button "Request Settlement"
